Although on European soil, Bimota has long been owned by Kawasaki and at last year's EICMA presented the "suitable" and conservative KB4. At this year's EICMA, the suits have been thrown away, and the KB4 RC is a razor-sharp design with Café Racer vibes.
It is powered by a 1,043cc Kawasaki engine with 142 hp at 10,000 rpm, the same as the KB4. At 8,000 rpm, it produces 111 Nm of torque. Through the huge air intakes reminiscent of fighter aircraft, the Ram-Air system is attached to the tubular lattice-type frame.
The wheelbase of this vehicle is 1,389mm. There are semi-active Marzocchi suspensions on the front and rear, an inverted front suspension with a diameter of 50mm, and shock absorbers on the rear. The front and rear brake discs have a diameter of 320mm and 220mm respectively.
In the front, there are four pistons, while in the rear, there are only one piston, Brembo, Stylema, with ABS. With 170/70-17 (front) and 190/50-17 (rear) tires, the wheels are cast aluminum. Saddle height is 810mm and weight is 186.8kg.
In stark contrast to the bulky rear section, the round headlight and tall clip-on handlebars create a sporty driving position. Regardless of how you look at it, it's different and, dare we say, beautiful.
