Since Mahindra acquired Peugeot Motorcycles, the Indian automotive giant has launched a number of new products under its new Peugeot brand, all of which fall into the scooter category, which is a retro-style bike, and there are other scooter models as well. This Peugeot brand offers many more products.
The Mahindra Group has big plans for Peugeot Motocycles, especially in the European market. The Peugeot PM-01 300 is a unique neo-style street fighter motorcycle that Peugeot presented at the EICMA 2022, expanding its range of models.
With a 300 cc engine and a 292.4 cc single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling and electronic fuel injection, this retro motorcycle features a 300 cc engine. Those engines produce 29 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 17 ft-lbs of torque at 7,000 rpm. Six-speed transmission sends power to the rear wheels. This engine is comparable to other 300 cc engines currently on the market.
On a naked bike, it comes with 280 and 240 mm rear disc brakes, dual-channel ABS as standard. The upside-down fork front suspension is gold anodized to add even more premium style. There is a 12.5 liter fuel tank, full LED lighting system with a unique headlamp design, and a full color TFT display.
As of this writing, the price and availability of the Peugeot PM-001 300 have not yet been announced. In spite of that, considering the looks of the bike and its unveiling at EICMA 2022, it appears that it will be available for sale very soon. Yes, definitely!
