QJ Motor, one of China's biggest manufacturers, released an entry-level electric sportbike. It's called the RX and it claims to be the equivalent of an electric sports bike in 125cc. However, it does pave the way for more performance-oriented models in the future.
If you don't know, QJ Motor is one of China's biggest manufacturers. Benelli, the company responsible for the resurgence of Italian motorcycle manufacturer, showcased its latest technology at EICMA 2022, shocking audiences with more than 30 models. The RX model caught our attention. It's electric.
With its angular bodywork, the RX looks like a modern sports bike. This is a sports bike for beginners. The high handlebars without too much bend, and the aggressive rear footrests make this model seem quite ergonomic. With its LED lights around the bike and screen, QJ Motor gives the bike a premium feel. Color TFT display
This motor has a power of 5 kW, which is 6.7 horsepower, and a speed of 100 km/h. It's a 72V 60Ah lithium-ion battery pack that's supposed to give 120 kilometers of driving range. It takes about 4 hours to charge.
