The XCELL hydrogen motorcycle concept features a holographic display
A strange design using state-of-the-art technology wins the Red Dot Design Concept in 2022.
By 2022, most models will have digital screens and driver assistance systems, though major OEMs are considering incorporating adaptive electronic driver assistance systems to increase road safety. However, they aren't the only ones who do so. A model called XCELL won the 2022 Red Dot Design Concept Award from Shanghai X-Idea Industrial Design Company.
A hydrogen-powered machine was imagined by Idea Industrial Design Company. There is a distance of about 200 kilometers and a maximum speed of 200 kilometers per hour. There is no other substance that drives or emits emissions besides water.
With XCELL, riders can customize their seating position to suit their specific ergonomic needs. There are electronic adjustments for the handlebars, footrests, and seat. Three driving modes are already preset: sport, leisure, and comfort.
Furthermore, X-Idea envisions intelligent safety systems for drivers. The rider wears a wearable device while controlling the vehicle. X-Idea specifically mentions night vision assistance as one of the driver assistance devices. The navigation system and holographic projection technology can be seen effectively while driving.
