Aim to compete with Bugatti Bolide
In the wake of Gumpert and Intensa Emozione, two hypercars that aim for the Olympus of the extreme dream car segment challenging rivals such as Bugatti, German Apollo returns with Project Evo.
A radical evolution of the first two hypercars, the Apollo Project Evo focuses on the Bugatti Bolide with a clear intention of directly challenging it, offering a genuine alternative to the Molhseim hypercar.
With its sharp and sharp external lines, which create the impression of movement even when the car is firm, the Apollo Project Evo was unveiled in Shanghai at the China International Import Expo.
Aerodynamic look
In front, there are thin X-shaped LED headlights and a large carbon fiber splitter, and the silhouette allows us to appreciate the unusual shape of the cockpit, which looks almost like an airplane cabin with numerous air intakes and slots.
Aeronautical-inspired wings on the tail ensure greater stability at high speeds. Two wings are part of six aerodynamic appendages, enhanced by full-length LED profiles that form an X with three large tailpipes arranged in a triangle.
What engine do you use?
Apollo Project Evo's carbon fiber monocoque, active aerodynamics, and adjustable spoilers promise higher and more extreme performance than the Intensa Emozione. As of now, the characteristics of the engine are unknown, and, given the rear exhausts, it will likely be internal combustion, but it could be electrified.
Faster and stronger than Intense Emotion
As a result of its naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V12 engine with 780 hp and 760 Nm of maximum torque, the Intensa Emozione generates 1,350 kg of downforce at 350 km / h and produces just 10 units. It can achieve a 0-100 km / h sprint in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 350 km / h. As such, it is reasonable to expect the Project Evo, which is also likely to be produced in a very limited number, to have even more power under the hood.
