Royal Enfield is preparing a wide range of twin cylinder engines after the Super Meteor 650.
Royal Enfield's Indian launch event blueprint gives us a glimpse of its inline-twin engine. So far, we've only seen it in the Continental GT and Interceptor, but at EICMA 2022, the cruiser alternative was unveiled as the Super Meteor 650.
However, based on the leaked blueprint, the Indian company has a lot in store for this engine, including the Shotgun 650 , Classic 650 and Scrambler 650 we have already seen in spy photos.
There will also be a sportier version of the Continental GT 650 with a fairing in the next batch of twin-cylinder 650s.
Technically, we have nothing new, since Royal Enfield will apparently use its engine in its current form, that is, with A2 specifications, so with a maximum of 47 horsepower.
Indian press claims the Himalayan 650 and Scrambler will be available from Autumn 2023 (Shotgun).
