Yamaha has released a new small scooter called the Augur, which has a design-focused approach. The Augur has a unique fairing with plastic panels that meet at the front and an LED projector in the center.
It also has simple, curved surfaces and dynamic spikes that give it an aggressive appearance. The scooter's 155cc engine produces 14.8 horsepower and has a maximum torque of 13.9 Nm.
It has a 6.1-liter fuel tank and weighs 132 kg, making it heavier than the Yamaha Aerox. The Augur has improved brakes with a 267mm front disc and two-piston caliper and a 230mm rear disc.
It also has various electronic features such as traction control, cornering assist, and a color-changing front headlight based on the weather. The Augur is currently only intended for the Asian market, with Taiwan as the first market.
