The Honda Dax ST 125 is the company's newest mini moto, and it has already won many fans. Among these fans is Thailand's K-Speed, which creates stunning builds like this utterly bonkers Dax cafe racer using its epic customization skills. K-Speed has transformed the ST 125 into an old-school cruiser with a host of standout features. Let's take a closer look.
Dax Jack 125 Honda Dax Custom by K-Speed Customs
This custom ST 125 is dubbed Dax Jack by its makers. K-Speed has swapped the modern upside-down forks for springer forks that resemble old-school cruisers on the front end. A side-mounted headlight and an upsized spoke wheel complete the look. You can only use the rear disc brake here since there is no front brake.
Ape hanger handlebars are located just above the fork. In addition to ensuring a cruiser-like riding position, these cables are hidden inside for a squeaky-clean finish. Similarly, the seat is a custom unit with diamond stitching, and once onboard, you'll find the stock LCD instrument cluster repositioned (to the left). Both sides of the build feature knurled footrests.
The rear end has also been overhauled. A custom tail lamp, indicators, and, most importantly, beefier shocks mounted on an extended swingarm are now included. Furthermore, the shocks' pivot angle has changed drastically, which, along with the chunky wheel, helps improve the Dax' stance.
This sinister paint job is complemented by blacked-out mechanicals and a sinister all-black finish. Its gorgeous custom exhaust bends tastefully along its length, the only contrasting element. Except for the exhaust, the ST 125's 124cc engine appears mostly stock.
