Electric scooters may be the world's most technologically advanced.
An advanced electric scooter from China's Horwin has been dubbed the first intelligent industrial machine.
Even though Senmenti O is less "bio-machine" than a "pedestrian", it is still a demonstration of current technologies in an area unfamiliar with surprises like this.
Everyone will start with the numbers on the first read, and they are totally right: with a torque of 61.2 kgm (!!!) and a power of 60 hp, a top speed of 200 km/h and a nominal range of 300 kilometers (at least, according to Horwin ), this scooter is simply out of this world.
Powered by a 16.2 kWh battery, with a voltage of 400V, it can achieve an 80% charge in just 30 minutes by using the fastest fast chargers available today.
In just 2.8 seconds, the electric scooter will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h!
In addition to these impressive numbers, the Senmenti O also has two radars that take care of detecting blind spots (blind spot detection) and warnings of collision risks.
Horwin also tells us that her scooter is equipped with ABS, traction control, three modes of riding, tire pressure sensors (TPMS), reverse, and keyless operation in addition to these safety systems.
Apart from the fact that its liquid-cooled electric motor is centrally mounted on the scooter and transmits power to the rear wheel via a belt, the Chinese don't tell us much about its mechanical components. The one-armed scissor he wears in front is also visible.
Besides the Senmenti O, there was an even more futuristic-looking scooter, the Senmenti X, for which no production forecast is available. This is an advanced design based on the same technology, but immersed in sensationalism: 80.5 horsepower, a similar top speed performance, range, acceleration, and charging times as the Senmenti O.
Horwin announced that the Senmenti O is coming soon to its network and has already opened pre-orders with a €100 deposit.
There are a number of important details that are left out, such as the size of the wheels and the possibility of storage space, as well as the final retail price, of course. We know that it weighs 185.5 kg and has a saddle height of 770 mm.
