At the Eicma trade show in Milan, Taiwanese firm Kymco unveiled its RevoNEX and SuperNEX electric concepts.
In 2018, the SuperNEX electric superbike was unveiled, followed a year later by the naked RevoNEX in 2019 with a 2021 release date promised.
As of now, Kymco chairman Allen Ko has presented heavily updated versions of both models, but there is no information regarding a revised release date.
Honeycomb bodywork is the most striking part of the design, which serves as an air intake for motor and battery cooling as well as looking good.
The front indicators are cleverly incorporated into the aerodynamic wings on both bikes, which are a must-have bodywork accessory for any aspiring sportsbike builder.
Additionally, they get chunky-looking twin front discs and upside-down forks with radial Brembo brake calipers. Both variants feature a TFT display.
Additionally, both models receive a conventional gear shifter, although it's unclear whether the lever is connected to a gearbox or a gear emulator to provide a sporty riding experience.
There’s no claimed power, performance, charge time, range, price or any kind of information on price and availability, but both of the bikes in the imagery are fitted with road going accoutrements like numberplate hangers and lights, so maybe we’ll find out more soon.
