In order to create the 800MT Sport R, CFMoto has adapted their 800MT model with uprated suspension, brakes and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres mounted on 17in rims.
Brembo brakes with braided steel lines replace the standard J.Juan units on the MT Sport.
The forks appear to be the same KYB kit fitted to the standard bike, but the shock is an Ohlins.
CFMoto's Moto3 riders ably demonstrate in the promo material how sharper handling should be achieved with the new 17in front wheel now that the bike is lighter, better suspended, and easier to stop.
We don't know if the bike will be sold or what its price will be, but the model photographed has retained its lights and numberplate hanger. It would be nice to see a road-going version retain the trick race rep paint job as well.
