The Peugeot PM-001 300 French on...Turn to motorcycles at EICMA 2022

Mahindra's acquisition of Peugeot will change the landscape of the French company, expanding its range to include motorcycles beyond scooters.

It is very important for Peugeot motorcycles to expand their model line in Europe, especially since the Indian giant has big plans for them. During EICMA 2022, Peugeot unveiled its first motorcycle, the PM-01 300, a streetfighter with a neo-retro aesthetic. 

The engine is a 292.4cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled unit. The engine produces 29 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 23 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Using a six-speed transmission, the drive reaches the rear wheel, "targeting" the Honda CB300R and BMW G 310 R.

In order to give the equipment a more premium appearance, it features an upside down front system in anodized gold. There's a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear and 280mm and 240mm disc brakes at the front and rear, respectively, as well as dual-channel ABS. 

With a capacity of 12.5 litres, the fuel tank should provide enough autonomy based on the cubic capacity. A multi-instrument also features full LED lighting and a color TFT screen with driving statistics and information.

As of now, Peugeot PM-001 300's price and availability are unknown; however, based on its appearance, it seems to be ready for production in the near future.
