Tromox, a Chinese manufacturer of electric two-wheelers, has expanded into the European market in recent years. In Milan, the brand presented two electrics that are friendly to novices.
It is probably the All-Terrain capabilities of the Ukko AT, which is based on the Ukko S. Tromox added a bit of differentiation to the platform. A 16-inch spoked front wheel and a 14-inch spoked rear wheel are featured on the Ukko AT. Due to its dual-sport tires, it is clearly intended for off-road travel.
In addition to its dual personality, its design is also reminiscent of an enduro, with a high front wing. Performance-wise, we have the same motor as the Ukko S, which is located in the middle of the vehicle and produces 4kW with 220Nm of torque. According to the company, the battery is 72V, 40Ah lithium-ion, and the range is over 100km with a top speed of 90km.
Tromox will also be showcasing the MC10 at EICMA 2022, which resembles something between a downhill bike and a motocross bike. With a 5kW motor, the MC10 is quite powerful. A 125cc thermal engine has a horsepower of 13.4kW, which is similar to its performance of 10kW.
The top speed of the vehicle is also 90 kph. Batteries of 72V and 30Ah power the motor, which provides a range of 120 kilometers on a single charge. The MC10 also features LED digital counter lights, keyless start, and reverse for on-the-spot maneuvering. Featuring low ground clearance, long-travel suspension, and a curb weight of 90kg, it's a sporty off-roader.
