This scrambler version of the 500 AC is powered by a new, slightly larger 494 cc engine, just like the 525 DSX.
Since the similar 300 ACX was introduced last year, the new bike has been more than anticipated - its existence was already known last January through leaks from China.
For a slightly different take on the same theme, the ACX version adds scrambler elements to the classic AC shape.
In its European form, the 525ACX has 47.6 horsepower, weighs 185 kg dry, and has a top speed of 160 km/h, with two mappings for the two-cylinder engine in Standard and Sport.
There are 19-inch wheels at the front and 17-inch wheels at the rear, and the minimum ground clearance is increased to 200mm over the 500 AC. It also has the same 7-inch TFT screen with standard connectivity as the 525DSX.
