Honda's CBR1000RR-R is one of the most powerful sportbikes in its class, with 215bhp in stock form. According to an online rumour, the Japanese bike maker is working on an even more performance-oriented Blade for 2024.
Honda is reportedly going all-out with the CBR before emissions norms tighten. Due to many constraints, dishing out more performance will become extremely challenging. Furthermore, Honda's progress in the World Superbike Championship is likely to benefit from the performance bump.Despite increasing the Fibreblade's power output in 2020, the company hasn't had any success in the racing league. The said updates could also be made to the chassis to improve the bike's handling around the race track.
In India, the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade retails for Rs 23.56 lakh for the standard trim and Rs 24.07 lakh for the SP trim. Before Honda slashed its prices in April, it was about Rs 10 lakh more expensive. As of now, it is hard to predict whether the updated Blade will come to India.
