Yamaha R9 has launched the All New YZF-R7, and there are rumors that a senior model like the All New YZF-R9 is in development, which is confirmed here with the registration of the R9 model name. Let's discuss how to develop this model.

Yamaha plans to release the YZF-R7 next year along with the YZF-R9. From 847cc to 889cc, the MT-09 engine will have a larger displacement. Additionally, it will produce 119 horsepower instead of 115. A significant increase in torque and power was also noted, reaching 93 NM at 7,000 rpm from 87.5 NM at 8,500 rpm.

In addition to the upside-down front suspension, it will feature a TFT display and a Quick Shifter. Among its features are three driving modes, a 6-axis IMU, free wheel protection, traction control, anti-skid, slide control, anti-lift to control wheelies, and ABS control during curves.

The Yamaha YZF-R9 is expected to launch at the end of 2021 (perhaps at EICMA), or at the very latest in the first quarter of 2022.
