Several rumors suggest that a big comeback will be based on a major anniversary in 2024.
Honda announced a few months ago that various models would cease production at the end of October 2022. Among them was a motorcycle popular in Greece, but never officially imported by the dealership: CB400 Super Four.
Honda is working on a four-cylinder Super Four generation, according to Japan's Autoby and Taiwan's Webike, with plans to launch it in 2024, the 50th anniversary since the CB400 Four first appeared in 1974.
Honda hasn't officially announced the revival of a bike that fell victim to the new Reiwa 2 specifications, but (supposedly well-informed) rumors suggest the return isn't only for the Japanese market, but will be a global model, so we'll see it here as well.
The Japanese at Autoby take it a step further by claiming that Honda's new platform will measure 500 cubic meters, with the 400 being a lowered version for the Japanese market.
We're taking a look at the 2022 CB400 Super Four Final Edition from the photos until then. We hope that reports are true, and we hope that they will also bring Super Four and Super Bol d'Or versions (with fairing).
