New motorcycle manufacturing companies are springing up like mushrooms all over the world, some with big expansion plans and some with smaller ones.
MBP, which stands for Moto Bologna Passione and is an offshoot of Keeway, presented a number of new models at EICMA. Big V-twins C1002V and T1022V caused the most excitement. Additionally, MBP introduced two 125 models on the same base as the thousand: T125X adventure and T125 enduro.
With an output of 15 hp and a maximum torque of 11 Nm at 8,000 rpm, the 124 cc engine is a four-stroke liquid-cooled single cylinder with four valves. With a 1,350mm wheelbase and tubular frame, the bikes have an upside-down fork with 180mm of travel and a centrally mounted rear shock. Wheels are 19 inches wide in the front and 17 inches wide in the rear, and wavy disc brakes measure 265 and 220 mm in diameter.
The T125 weighs 135 kg and the X 140 kg. For both, the saddle height is 835mm.
Using the MBP Connect app, it is possible to receive alerts about the movements of the parked motorcycle (and therefore theft attempts) through the geolocation feature of the instrument panel.
"X" has the fairing extending towards the tank, tall and vertical Plexiglas like the Pari-Dakar rally bikes (the same for the digital instruments), and a flush front feather. From the side, the adventure looks like the Tenere.
Next year's second quarter is expected to see their release.
