In terms of electric motor, battery system, chassis and suspension, SuperNEX and RevoNEX share the same construction platform, with the difference being in the sectors that separate them. Firstly, "reclined" driving position, only room for the driver, full aerodynamic protection, and final transmission with chain. Secondly, "upright" driving position, room for a passenger, no aerodynamic plastics, and final transmission with belt.
Gearbox
Gear changes are the art of riding a motorcycle, according to the motorcycle philosophy. Therefore, they have a 6-speed manual transmission! In this way, the rider can make the most of the engine's potential while always feeling as if he is riding the way he has for so many years with gasoline-powered motorcycles.
The good thing is that it has a fully automatic function, which is great for urban environments where gear changes and clutching aren't necessary.
Kymco's Electric Full-range Acceleration (EFA) accelerates motorcycles in absolute safety, since the electric motor delivers power linearly and without loss as the rider opens the throttle.
With the 6-speed gearbox, the rider has a wide range of options for managing the torque and power of a set that goes from 0-100 in 3.9" to 0-205 in 11.8"! Additionally, the FEP (Full Engagement Performance) system features an inertial measurement unit (IMU), providing Cornering ABS as well as Launch Control to prevent front wheel lifts - the usual mudslides - no matter how sharply the driver is pushed.
What would motorcycles be without "voice"? Kymco answers this question with AAM, an electric motor with an active acoustic motor. As the revs rise, the rider perceives the revs in a similar manner to an internal combustion engine, without the possibility of storing them. As a result, the rider and motorcycle become even more "binding".
There are also Riding Modes in AMP (Adaptive Machine Personality), where the electric motorcycle acquires a personality. When things are lively, Assertive, Bold, and Finally Extreme, all betraying the manner in which the RevoNEX operates and responds to them.
