Do they look like motorcycles? Bicycles that look like motorcycles? Disc brakes and chainrings robustly able to withstand the performance of electric bikes mean they often look like lightweight motorcycles, in addition to their performance.

The Italian Moto Parilla has impressive designs that really resemble motorcycles. Tricolore Ebike, its new series, was presented at Milan.

When Filippo Beltrami, still a student at the time, decided to develop a new type of electric bike called the Carbon SUV with the help of a professor and a designer, Moto Parilla was bought.

In 2021 Moto Parilla redesigned the Carbon, improving the flaws and optimizing the frame, giving life to an electric bike designed and built entirely in Italy. CARBON SUV was more about design and urban ride experience than jumps and true MTB. Unlike its older sibling, the Carbon SUV, the Tricolore MX has an all-terrain geometry.

Basically, the differences are in the suspension, brakes, and some minor components related to the styling and overall look of the Tricolore MX, MR, and M. A Polini E-P3+ MX motor (250 Watt nominal power - 600 Watt peak power - 90 Nm torque - 36V - 5 mappings) powers the Tricolore ebikes.

Monocoque frame with integrated Spanninga lights on carbon fiber headtube and seatpost. BCA, Magura MT5, and MT7 PRO brakes. It has a 27.5-inch rear wheel and a 29-inch front wheel. The battery is the same in all versions Polini 880Wh - 36V with a Polini TFT screen.

Tricolore has a hemp fiber covering system, which is also fully recyclable since the fiber is organic. In the bicycle and motorcycle industry, Moto Parilla uses hemp to follow the ecological transition.

Despite having an airtight seal, the top cover allows cables to pass through while preventing liquids from entering. Water bottles or additional screens can be attached through the holes. Batteries can be placed and removed easily with the quick release system.

After almost two years of research, the Tricolore scissor was developed. The arm is made entirely of carbon fiber due to a bold innovative choice. Furthermore, the wheel coupling position, rear brake caliper, and suspension system are reinforced with aluminum inserts.

With its wide scissor, it fits tires up to 3.5" and allows for excellent mud drainage. With the Flip-Chip system, axles can be changed easily.

It is powered by the main battery and integrated into the seat position of the frame. Control is provided by the steering wheel, ensuring ease of use and performance. Tricolore's monocoque carbon fiber frame houses the front lighting system. Emergency kits, repair tools, or other personal items can be stored in the internal storage, carved into the frame.
