The GASGAS MC 450F and GASGAS MC 250F Factory Editions for 2023 are new factory editions for motocross

GasGas is back with two factory edition motocross models a year after releasing the first replica racing bike. All-new GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition and MC 250F Factory Edition have been designed and developed in collaboration with GASGAS Factory Racing. Each features all-new engines, new frames, and the latest technology, with almost everything else improved over the outgoing generation. 

A new CP cylinder head and piston boosts overall performance and enhances the track experience for all riders on the MC 450F Factory Edition. With the engine now lighter than ever, and repositioned in the all-new frame to improve mass concentration, the bike's already agile handling characteristics get even better.

MC 250F Factory Edition is the newest and freshest dirt bike in GASGAS' lineup. An extremely compact high-revving engine with a new cylinder, cylinder head, piston, crankcase, and gearbox leads the way.

A new hydrostop on the WP XACT fork improves end-of-travel resistance, and a slightly slower setting deadens jump landings. WP XACT shocks at the rear provide better performance and are easily adjustable by hand.

Features of both bikes

• Hydroformed, laser-cut and robot-welded, the new generation frame is strong and flexible. Finished with a hard, red coating, the chassis is extremely stable at high speeds without compromising cornering.
• Strong and light aluminum subframe. Aluminum subframes contribute to the overall handling of Factory Edition bikes.
• An improved molding process reduced 190 grams from the old scissor. In addition to being strong and flexible, it has a new chain guide designed to prevent mud buildup as well as maintain the bike's forward momentum in tight corners.
• Fresh new plastics and the latest graphics from Red Bull/Troy Lee/GASGAS Factory Racing. Riders can also control the bike better at fast speeds due to larger knee contact points. 
• A larger fuel tank - So you won't run out of fuel while racing. 
• Tread design - Placed further 'inside' the frame to prevent getting caught in deep ruts or damage when dragging on dirt. Larger surface area improves control in all conditions.
• All-new WP rear shock and WP fork tuned to maintain forward momentum after hard landings. Manual adjustments are also available for the fork and rear shock.
• State-of-the-art electronics with Traction Control and Quickshifter - For traction on slippery terrain, Traction Control is essential, while Quickshifter ensures lightning-fast gear changes.
• Easy-to-use mapping selector switch, Launch Control, Traction Control, and quickshifter - Mounted on the steering wheel, the selector switch houses all three electronic systems' buttons.
• Factory Edition engines are lighter and positioned to play an active role in handling. They aren't just fast, they help the bike handle.
• Redesigned 250cc four-stroke engine - Engineered for pro-level racing, the 250cc engine aims to be the best.
• The upgraded 450 engine has a lower weight, which produces even more power, and has concentrated masses that improve handling.
• Both factory editions feature excellent Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/GASGAS Factory Racing graphics and race-tested components. Components are designed to improve performance and durability, while electronic wizardry lets riders tailor power to suit their style.
• With Akrapovi's Slip-On Line titanium exhaust system, the new engine has even more power. As well as torque and top speed, it looks better.
  

 GASGAS Technical Accessories complete both bikes with Factory Start Device, Neken Handlebar, 2K Carbon Engine Guard, Hinson Clutch Cover, a Red Frame Protection Kit, a Black Rear Sprocket, and a gold X-ring chain. Lastly, an hour meter is installed to ensure motorcycle maintenance.

MC 450F Factory Edition and MC 250F Factory Edition models will be available at all GASGAS dealerships in January 2023. The MC 450F Factory Edition will be available to Europeans and non-US customers in March.
