QJ Motor Introduces Middleweight Cruiser SRV 700

The Qianjiang group's QJ Motor brand entered the European market in 2022 with three roadster models. In EICMA 2022, the Chinese manufacturer arrived with more than 30 distinct machines, demonstrating their additional resources as we saw in the old continent.

in addition to the mid-displacement V-twin-powered SVT 650X adventure bike, the company also unveiled the SRV 700 cruiser, which is available in 550cc. A direct influence of the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob can be seen in the design of the bike's horizontal LED front headlight and its rear part.

In spite of being a cruiser, the Chinese firm chose the parallel-twin of its SRK 700 naked bike rather than its new V-twin. The engine has a displacement of 698cc and produces 73 horsepower and 46 ft-lbs of torque. With a six-speed gearbox, a multidisc clutch, electronic injection, and liquid cooling, the engine is equipped with a multidisc clutch.

The SRV 700 is a fairly conventional cruiser in terms of its foundation. On the tubular steel frame are a rear shock absorber offset to the right and a front inverted fork with relatively relaxed geometry. A set of 16-inch alloy eight-spoke wheels is shod with substantial 130/90 and 150/80 CST tires. 320 mm front discs with 4-piston radial calipers and a single rear disc brake make up the braking system. A 16-liter tank provides a significant amount of range between fill-ups.

In addition to the stitched seat, the LED lighting, the circular LCD meter, the straight handlebar, and the bar-end mirrors, the rest of the equipment is very high-end. SRV 700 will be exported to Europe by QJ Motor, but at what price is unknown. The Kawasaki Vulcan S and Honda CMX500 Rebel will undoubtedly compete favorably with it when it arrives.
