The Sportbike Concept has not yet been released. We may soon see the real one that can start the engine
Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer Kymco debuted its SuperNEX concept at EICMA four years after it debuted its scooters, showing its plans to move into electric vehicles. SuperNEX hasn't even gone into production yet. It's been quiet for a while.
It's a long shot to see this in person. At Eicma 2022, Kymco showed off some design updates to the SuperNEX Concept, but it's still a concept bike.
Even though we're all waiting for the production version of the SuperNEX, Kymco still has some specs to tempt us: six-speed gear shifting, speakers. To make an engine sound like a combustion engine.
Featuring a honeycomb body, the SuperNEX is modern and futuristic. Anyone with trypophobia probably hates this one. As a sportbike, SuperNEX features a black fairing with blue highlights, a TFT color screen, and LED lights around the bike.
From 0 to 100 km/h, an electric motor propels the sport bike. It takes 2.9 seconds and reaches 250 kph in just 2.9 seconds. With four riding modes, FEP combines an electric motor with traction control, cornering ABS, wheelie control and a comprehensive electronics package known as Full Engagement Performance.
A Conceptbike is just a dream sold for 4 years to an audience. The model that can be used and start the engine has not yet been officially announced. However, this model is considered quite interesting in general.
